Terms of use

1. Scope and provider

These terms of use apply to the use of the 3D STL viewer provided by Christoph Beben, pixagentur (see legal notice).

2. Service

The tool lets you view STL files in your browser and export images and videos. Processing takes place locally in your browser; files are not uploaded to a server. The service is provided free of charge.

3. No warranty

The tool is provided free of charge and “as is”. We make no warranty as to availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. There is no entitlement to availability or to the continued operation of the service.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we assume no liability and no responsibility for the use of this tool or for any damages arising from its use. This does not affect liability for intent, gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health, or under mandatory statutory provisions.

5. Your responsibility for the files

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold the necessary rights (in particular copyright and usage rights) to the STL files you load. You must respect and observe the rights of third parties (copyright, trademark, design, personality and property rights). Because processing is performed locally, we obtain no access to your files and cannot check them.

6. Indemnification

You shall indemnify us against any third-party claims arising from an unlawful or rights-infringing use of the tool by you.

7. Exported media

Images and videos you export from your own models may be used freely, including commercially. Responsibility for their use lies with you.

8. Changes

We may amend these terms with effect for the future. The version current at the time of use applies.

9. Applicable law and severability

German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
